I am very disappointed with the service and professionalism I experienced at the Clanton Walmart Auto Care Center during a recent oil change. After receiving a text that my vehicle was ready, I arrived sometime time later and noticed my car being rushed back into the service bay upon arrival. When I asked why, the cashier appeared confused and also realized my keys were not even ready for pickup yet. The employee working on my vehicle, Jesus, later admitted THROUGH JOKES that they had left the plastic underpinning off my car. Instead of treating this as a serious concern to my car, he laughed it off to the cashier that asked and said it was “no big deal” as this is something that happens. Another employee later admitted this has happened multiple times recently and customers have had to return after discovering the underpinning was missing. What upset me most was the unprofessional attitude from Jesus. Rather than openly explaining the mistake professionally, it felt like they were trying to quietly fix it before I noticed. My car was perfect before service. After service my car would no longer start. My baby and I were broke down at Walmart for hours. Had to get a ride home. It was done for over 40 minutes while we were shopping and nobody even bothered to call and tell us until we walked over there to get our car and was told, "sorry we had to push your car out of the shop it wouldn't crank." They said they hit the starter and did all kinda stuff but, they didn't call me. The guy that did the oil change come outside to see if he could jump start the car, he propped the hood up but struggled with the cables, another man had to come show him, he didn't even know how to connect a jump box to the battery. When he finished, he was pulling and pushing trying to force my hood down with the prop still up. I screamed," hey, your gonna break it!" He said, "I'm so sorry." He tore up my car probably tried to keep turning the key and start my car when it was already started, dropped oil on the starter, or disconnected something. I don't know why these guys would go to work on cars when they don't even know how to do anything at all apparently. It's been a rough few days for us. I've already spent right over $50

First things first, both girls that work in this department are rude. I had to get my battery replaced. It was still under warranty. I caught attitude for not having my receipt, which would have been in my glove compartment but couldn't access it because it was in the shop. Isn't that something. The girl checking people out was walking around giving nasty looks and had a bad attitude the whole time. The shop manager was no better. Very dismissive! I had not warranted for them to be mean to me yet they were. Don't expect a friendly face or for them to talk to you in a friendly manner. I also work retail so I know the stress behind the job but don't treat people like they don't matter. Shame on them! By the way my mom works for Walmart and she doesn't treat people bad. Get it together ladies.

Literally useless. Couldn't get an oil change because supposedly the thermostat wasn't working and the engine was hot. Yet the car wasn't running hot on the way there. Of course the engine will be hot. I drove all the way from Lawley to get there for an oil change. Waste of gas and time. Zero stars if I could.
